Thanks for visiting my site. I am an educator and community advocate dedicated to serving others. I have served as a public official, and continue to serve on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations. I study intercultural and organizational communication, and I am passionate about fostering understanding and collaboration among individuals and organizations from diverse backgrounds. Through my research and practical application, I want to empower organizations and individuals to appreciate and leverage their differences for collective growth and success.
I love to see people coming together for important causes that can result in better lives. My experiences with people of different races, ethnicities, abilities, and socio-economic classes, as well as my own personal experiences of being the son of immigrants, have taught me the importance of possessing the cultural competency needed for gaining empathy and understanding in our diverse society. Muhammad Ali once said, "Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth." My work and my life have always been about creating opportunities for people and serving others.
